حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن يحيى القطيعي قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن بكر قَال حَدَّثنا عُمَر بن قيس عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد بن الْمُسَيَّب وَأَبي سَلَمة عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال من أدرك ركعة من الجمعة فليصل إليها أخرىوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نعلَمُ أحَدًا رَوَاهُ عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد وَأَبي سَلَمة إلاَّ عُمَر بن قيس وحده وعمر لَيِّنُ الْحَدِيثِ وَإنَّما يُكْتَبُ مِنْ حَدِيثِهِ مَا ينفرد به ما لم يشاركه فيه غيره اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال من أدرك ركعة من الجمعة فليصل إليها أخرىوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نعلَمُ أحَدًا رَوَاهُ عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد وَأَبي سَلَمة إلاَّ عُمَر بن قيس وحده وعمر لَيِّنُ الْحَدِيثِ وَإنَّما يُكْتَبُ مِنْ حَدِيثِهِ مَا ينفرد به ما لم يشاركه فيه غيره
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Qutay'i narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, he said: Umar ibn Qays narrated to us, from az-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib and Abu Salamah, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «Whoever catches one rak'ah of the Friday prayer, let him add another rak'ah to it.» This hadith is not known to us from anyone narrating it from az-Zuhri from Sa'id and Abu Salamah except Umar ibn Qays alone, and Umar is weak in hadith. Only those hadiths of his that he alone narrates, without others sharing in them, are written down.
