حَدَّثنا عَبد الله بن شَبِيب قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو شيبة عَبد الرحمن بن عَبد الله بن شيبة قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو نباته يُونُس بن يحيى عن سلمة بن وردان عَن أبي سَعِيد بن المعلى عَن أبي هُرَيرة قال أوصاني خليلي بثلاث لا أنام إلاَّ على وتر وصوم ثلاثة أيام من كل شهر والغسل يوم الجمعة إن شاء اللهولا نعلم أسند أَبُو سَعِيد بن المعلى عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ هذين الحديثين وَأبُو سَعِيد بن المعلى مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قد روى غير حديث عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم رَوَى عَن النَّبِيّ حديثين أحدهما تحويل القبلة والآخر لا تخرج من المسجد حتى أعلمك ما روى قَبِيصَة بن ذؤيب عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة سَعِيد بن المعلى مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قد روى غير حديث عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم رَوَى عَن النَّبِيّ حديثين أحدهما تحويل القبلة والآخر لا تخرج من المسجد حتى أعلمك ما روى قَبِيصَة بن ذؤيب عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة
English Translation
Abdullah ibn Shabib narrated to us, he said: Abu Shaybah Abd ar-Rahman ibn Abdullah ibn Shaybah narrated to us, he said: Abu Nabatah Yunus ibn Yahya narrated to us, from Salamah ibn Wardan, from Abu Sa'id ibn al-Mu'alla, from Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: My beloved friend (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) advised me with three things: not to sleep except after Witr, to fast three days of every month, and to perform ritual bathing on Friday, if Allah wills. We do not know that Abu Sa'id ibn al-Mu'alla narrated with a connected chain from Abu Hurayrah except these two hadiths. Abu Sa'id ibn al-Mu'alla was from the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). He narrated more than one hadith from the Messenger of Allah. He narrated two hadiths directly from the Noble Prophet: one regarding the changing of the Qiblah, and the other: 'Do not leave the mosque until I inform you.' What Qabisah ibn Dhu'ayb narrated from Abu Hurayrah.
