حَدَّثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثنا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هشام حَدَّثنا أَبِي عَن قَتادة عَن أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَانَ أَحَبُّ الثِّيَابِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَنْ يَلْبَسَهَا الْحِبَرَةَوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا يَرْوِيهِ عَن قَتادة غَيْرَ هشام إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَنْ يَلْبَسَهَا الْحِبَرَةَوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا يَرْوِيهِ عَن قَتادة غَيْرَ هشام
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us: Mu'adh ibn Hisham narrated to us: my father narrated to us from Qatadah from Anas who said: The most beloved garment to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) to wear was the hibarah (a type of striped Yemeni cloth). This hadith, we do not know of anyone who narrates it from Qatadah other than Hisham.
