وحدثنا محمد بن المثنى حَدَّثنا أَبُو عامر حَدَّثنا هِشَامٌ عَن قَتادة عَن أَنَس أَن رَسولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ لا عدوى ولاَ طير ويعجبني الفأل قيل يارسول اللَّهِ وَمَا الْفَأْلُ قَالَ الْكَلِمَةُ الْحَسَنَةُ
English Translation
And Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us: Abu 'Amir narrated to us: Hisham narrated to us from Qatadah from Anas that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «There is no contagion and no bad omen, and I am pleased by the good omen.» It was said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the good omen? He stated: «A good word.»
