حَدَّثنا أحمد بن الفرج الحمصي حَدَّثنا بقية بن الوليد حَدَّثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانٍ الْقُرْدُوسِيُّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَن أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا مَعْشَرَ الشَّبَابِ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ ذَا طَوْلٍ فَلْيَتَزَوَّجْ وَمَنْ لَا فَعَلَيْهِ بِالصَّوْمِ أَحسَبُهُ قَالَ فَإِنَّهُ لَهُ وِجَاءٌوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَن أَنَس إلاَّ بَقِيَّةُ وَرَوَاهُ غَيْرُ بَقِيَّةَ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عن رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسلم حَبِيبُ بْنُ الشَّهِيدِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْهُ يَا مَعْشَرَ الشَّبَابِ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ ذَا طَوْلٍ فَلْيَتَزَوَّجْ وَمَنْ لَا فَعَلَيْهِ بِالصَّوْمِ أَحسَبُهُ قَالَ فَإِنَّهُ لَهُ وِجَاءٌوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَن أَنَس إلاَّ بَقِيَّةُ وَرَوَاهُ غَيْرُ بَقِيَّةَ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عن رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسلم حَبِيبُ بْنُ الشَّهِيدِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْهُ
English Translation
Ahmad ibn al-Faraj al-Himsi narrated to us, Baqiyyah ibn al-Walid narrated to us, Hisham ibn Hassan al-Qurdusi narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «O gathering of young men, whoever among you has the means should marry, and whoever does not, then let him fast, for it is a shield for him.» We do not know anyone who narrated this hadith from Hisham ibn Hassan, from al-Hasan, from Anas except Baqiyyah. And others besides Baqiyyah narrated it from Hisham, from al-Hasan, from a man among the Companions of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). Habib ibn al-Shahid narrated from al-Hasan, from him.
