وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْبَاءَةِ وَيَنْهَى عَنِ التَّبَتُّلِ نَهْيًا شَدِيدًا وَيَقُولُ تَزَوَّجُوا الْوَدُودَ الْوَلُودَ فَإِنِّي مُكَاثِرٌ بِكُمُ الأُمَمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَفْصُ بْنُ عُبَيد اللَّهِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَن أَنَس عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْبَاءَةِ وَيَنْهَى عَنِ التَّبَتُّلِ نَهْيًا شَدِيدًا وَيَقُولُ تَزَوَّجُوا الْوَدُودَ الْوَلُودَ فَإِنِّي مُكَاثِرٌ بِكُمُ الأُمَمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَفْصُ بْنُ عُبَيد اللَّهِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَن أَنَس
English Translation
And with his chain of narration, that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to command marriage and strongly forbid celibacy, and he would say: «Marry the loving, child-bearing woman, for I shall boast of your numbers over the other nations on the Day of Resurrection.» Hafs ibn 'Ubaydillah ibn Anas from Anas.
