حَدَّثنا محمد بن معاوية البغدادي بن مالج الأنماطي ثقة حَدَّثنا خَلَفُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ حَفْصٍ عَن أَنَسٍ قَالَ كَانَ بَعِيرٌ لِنَاسٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ كَانُوا يَسْنُونَ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُ اسْتَصْعَبَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَنَعَهُمْ ظَهْرَهُ فَجَاءَتِ الأَنْصَارُ إِلَى النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسولَ اللهِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ لَنَا جَمَلٌ نُسْنِي عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُ اسْتَصْعَبَ عَلَيْنَا وَمَنَعَنَا ظَهْرَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لأَصْحَابِهِ قُومُوا فَقَامُوا مَعَهُ فَجَاءَ إِلَى حائطٍ والجملُ فِي ناحيةٍ فَجَاءَ يَمْشِي نَحْوَهُ قَالُوا يَا رَسولَ اللهِ قَدْ صَارَ كَالْكَلْبِ وَإِنَّا نَخَافُ عَلَيْكَ مِنُه أَوْ نَخَافُ عَلَيْكَ صَوْلَتَهُ قَالَ لَيْسَ عَلَيَّ مِنْهُ بَأْسٌ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ الْجَمَلُ جَاءَ الْجَمَلُ يَسِيرُ حَتَّى خَرَّ سَاجِدًا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَقَالَ أَصْحَابُهُ يَا رَسولَ اللهِ هَذِهِ بَهِيمَةٌ لَا تَعْقِلُ وَنَحْنُ نَعْقِلُ نَحْنُ أَحَقُّ أَنْ نَسْجُدَ لَكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لا يَصْلُحُ شَيْءٌ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لِشَيْءٍ وَلَوْ صَلُحَ لِشَيْءٍ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لِشَيْءٍ لأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا مِنْ عِظَمِ حَقِّهِ عَلَيْهَاوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ عَن أَنَس إلاَّ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَحَفْصُ ابْنُ أَخِي أَنَسٍ فَلا نَعْلَمُ حَدَّثَ عَنْهُ إِلَّا خَلَفُ بن خليفة اسْتَصْعَبَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَنَعَهُمْ ظَهْرَهُ فَجَاءَتِ الأَنْصَارُ إِلَى النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسولَ اللهِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ لَنَا جَمَلٌ نُسْنِي عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُ اسْتَصْعَبَ عَلَيْنَا وَمَنَعَنَا ظَهْرَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لأَصْحَابِهِ قُومُوا فَقَامُوا مَعَهُ فَجَاءَ إِلَى حائطٍ والجملُ فِي ناحيةٍ فَجَاءَ يَمْشِي نَحْوَهُ قَالُوا يَا رَسولَ اللهِ قَدْ صَارَ كَالْكَلْبِ وَإِنَّا نَخَافُ عَلَيْكَ مِنُه أَوْ نَخَافُ عَلَيْكَ صَوْلَتَهُ قَالَ لَيْسَ عَلَيَّ مِن��هُ بَأْسٌ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ الْجَمَلُ جَاءَ الْجَمَلُ يَسِيرُ حَتَّى خَرَّ سَاجِدًا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَقَالَ أَصْحَابُهُ يَا رَسولَ اللهِ هَذِهِ بَهِيمَةٌ لَا تَعْقِلُ وَنَحْنُ نَعْقِلُ نَحْنُ أَحَقُّ أَنْ نَسْجُدَ لَكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لا يَصْلُحُ شَيْءٌ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لِشَيْءٍ وَلَوْ صَلُحَ لِشَيْءٍ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لِشَيْءٍ لأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا مِنْ عِظَمِ حَقِّهِ عَلَيْهَاوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ عَن أَنَس إلاَّ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَحَفْصُ ابْنُ أَخِي أَنَسٍ فَلا نَعْلَمُ حَدَّثَ عَنْهُ إِلَّا خَلَفُ بن خليفة
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Mu'awiyah al-Baghdadi ibn Malij al-Anmati — trustworthy — narrated to us: Khalaf ibn Khalifah narrated to us from Hafs from Anas who said: Some people from the Ansar had a camel that they used for irrigation, but it became difficult for them and refused to carry them. The Ansar came to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, we had a camel that we used for irrigation, but it has become unruly and refuses to carry us. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to his Companions: Come along. So they went with him and came to a garden where the camel was in a corner. He walked towards it. They said: O Messenger of Allah, it has become like a mad dog and we fear for you from it — or we fear its attack upon you. He said: «It will not harm me.» When the camel saw him, it came walking until it fell in prostration before him. His Companions said: O Messenger of Allah, this is a beast that does not reason, and we who do reason are more deserving of prostrating to you. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «It is not befitting for anything to prostrate to anything. If it were befitting for anything to prostrate to anything, I would have commanded the wife to prostrate to her husband due to the greatness of his right over her.» This hadith, we do not know it to be narrated with this wording from Anas except through this chain. As for Hafs the nephew of Anas, we do not know of anyone who narrated from him except Khalaf ibn Khalifah.
