حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنِي الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مِنْ أَفْرَى الْفِرَى مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ وَالِدِهِ وَمِنْ أَفْرَى الْفِرَى مَنْ أَرَى عَيْنَيْهِ فِي الْمَنَامِ مَا لَمْ تَرَ وَمِنْ أَفْرَى الْفِرَى مَنْ قَالَ عَلَيَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مِنْ أَفْرَى الْفِرَى مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ وَالِدِهِ وَمِنْ أَفْرَى الْفِرَى مَنْ أَرَى عَيْنَيْهِ فِي الْمَنَامِ مَا لَمْ تَرَ وَمِنْ أَفْرَى الْفِرَى مَنْ قَالَ عَلَيَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Miskin narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Abi Maryam narrated to us, Nafi ibn Yazid narrated to us, al-Walid ibn Abi al-Walid narrated to me from Yazid ibn al-Had from Abdullah ibn Dinar from Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Among the worst of lies is for one to claim a father other than his own, and among the worst of lies is for one to claim his eyes saw in a dream what they did not see, and among the worst of lies is for one to attribute to me what I did not say."
