حَدَّثَنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ حَدَّثنا بِشْر بن المُفَضَّل حَدَّثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَنْهَاكُمْ أَنْ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَنْهَاكُمْ أَنْ تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ
English Translation
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, Bishr ibn al-Mufaddal narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abi Ishaq narrated to us from Salim from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, Allah the Blessed and Exalted forbids you from swearing by your fathers."
