English Translation
Al-Fadl ibn Sahl narrated to us saying: Abu Nu'aym narrated to us saying: Sufyan narrated to us from Abu Ishaq from Amr ibn Maymun from Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «The most truthful words are the Book of Allah, and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and the worst of matters are those that are newly invented, and every innovation is misguidance.»
