حَدَّثنا أسيد بن عَاصِم قَال حَدَّثنا عامر بن إبراهيم قَال حَدَّثنا يَعْقُوبُ الْقُمِّيُّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي الْمُغِيرَةِ عَن سَعِيد بْنِ جُبَير عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وَقَدْ أَظَلَّتْنَا سَحَابَةٌ وَنَحْنُ نَطْمَعُ فِيهَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ الْمَلِكَ الَّذِي يَسُوقُهَا دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيَّ وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ يَسُوقُهَا إِلَى وَادِي كَذَا اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وَقَدْ أَظَلَّتْنَا سَحَابَةٌ وَنَحْنُ نَطْمَعُ فِيهَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ الْمَلِكَ الَّذِي يَسُوقُهَا دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيَّ وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ يَسُوقُهَا إِلَى وَادِي كَذَا
English Translation
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Abu Ja'far, from Ata ibn Yasar, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: «When one of you eats food, let him not wipe his hand with a cloth until he licks it or has it licked.» This hadith is well-known from Ata ibn Yasar from Ibn Abbas from several routes.
