حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن عَبد الله قَال حَدَّثنا عَبد الرحمن بن غزوان قَال حَدَّثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَن حَبيب عَن سَعِيد بْنِ جُبَير عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ يَقُومُ أَوْ أَوَّلُ مَنْ يُدْعَى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الْحَمَّادُونَ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ إلاَّ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَرَوَاهُ عَن حَبيب الْمَسْعُودِيِّ وقيس اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ يَقُومُ أَوْ أَوَّلُ مَنْ يُدْعَى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الْحَمَّادُونَ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ إلاَّ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَرَوَاهُ عَن حَبيب الْمَسْعُودِيِّ وقيس
English Translation
Abu Kamil narrated to us, he said: Abu Awanah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Bara' ibn Azib, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his companions came performing Umrah, and the polytheists said: 'Verily, people are coming to you who have been weakened by the fever of Yathrib.' So the Prophet commanded them to perform ramal [brisk walking] in the first three circuits, and to walk between the two corners, to show the polytheists their strength.
