English Translation
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, he said: Yahya narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Mujahid, from Tawus, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: «The woman who has been previously married has more right over herself than her guardian, and the virgin is to be asked for her permission, and her permission is her silence.»
