وحَدَّثنا أَبُو شيبة قَال حَدَّثنا أحمد بن يَحْيَى قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ عَنِ الأَعمَش عَن سَعِيد بْنِ جُبَير عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ أَخَذَتْهُمْ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ رِيحٌ عَقِيمٌ قَالَ أَخَذَتْهُمْ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ رِيحٌ عَقِيمٌ
English Translation
And Abu Shaybah narrated to us, he said: Ahmad ibn Yahya narrated to us, he said: Abu Ubaydah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), who said: A barren [destructive] wind seized them on the day of Badr.
