وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم كَانَ يَأْمُرُنَا إِذَا غَزَوْنَا فَدَعَا رجل في أخرى القوم فَقال يأيها الأَوَّلُ أَنْ نَنْتَظِرَهُ حَتَّى يَلْحَقَوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَحْفَظُ كَلامَهُ إلاَّ عَنْ سَمُرة عَنِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ كَانَ يَأْمُرُنَا إِذَا غَزَوْنَا فَدَعَا رجل في أخرى القوم فَقال يأيها الأَوَّلُ أَنْ نَنْتَظِرَهُ حَتَّى يَلْحَقَوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَحْفَظُ كَلامَهُ إلاَّ عَنْ سَمُرة عَنِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ
English Translation
With the same chain: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to command us, when we went on a military expedition and a man called out from the rear, saying 'O you at the front,' to wait for him until he caught up. This hadith, we do not preserve its wording except from Samurah from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with this chain.
