حَدَّثنا عَمْرو بن مالك قَال حَدَّثنا عَمْرو بن النعمان قَال حَدَّثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ عَبد اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيدة عَن أَبيهِ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى سُتْرَةٍ فَلْيَدْنُ مِنْهَا لا يَقْطَعِ الشَّيْطَانُ عَلَيْهِ صَلاتَهُوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ يُرْوَى عَن بُرَيدة إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ولاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ إلاَّ عَمْرو بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ وَعَمْرٌو رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى سُتْرَةٍ فَلْيَدْنُ مِنْهَا لا يَقْطَعِ الشَّيْطَانُ عَلَيْهِ صَلاتَهُوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ يُرْوَى عَن بُرَيدة إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ولاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ إلاَّ عَمْرو بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ وَعَمْرٌو رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ
English Translation
Amr ibn Malik narrated to us, he said: Amr ibn an-Nu'man narrated to us, he said: Yusuf ibn Suhayb narrated to us from Abdullah ibn Burayda from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When one of you prays facing a sutrah (barrier), let him draw near to it so that the Shaytan does not cut off his prayer." This hadith, we do not know it to be narrated from Burayda except through this route, and we do not know anyone who narrated it from Yusuf ibn Suhayb except Amr ibn an-Nu'man, who is a man from the people of Basra.
