حَدَّثنا بِشْر بن آدم قَال حَدَّثنا زيد بن الحباب قَال حَدَّثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ عَبد اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيدة عَن أَبيهِ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم من حلف أنه برىء مِنَ الإِسْلامِ فَإِنْ كَانَ كَاذِبًا فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ وَإِنْ كَانَ صَادِقًا فَلَنْ يَرْجِعَ إِلَى الإِسْلامِ سَالِمًاوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إلاَّ عَنْ بُرَيدة عَنِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم ولاَ نَعْلَمُ لَهُ طَرِيقًا عَنْ بُرَيدة إلاَّ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَن ابْنِ بُرَيدة عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَسَلَّم من حلف أنه برىء مِنَ الإِسْلامِ فَإِنْ كَانَ كَاذِبًا فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ وَإِنْ كَانَ صَادِقًا فَلَنْ يَرْجِعَ إِلَى الإِسْلامِ سَالِمًاوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إلاَّ عَنْ بُرَيدة عَنِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم ولاَ نَعْلَمُ لَهُ طَرِيقًا عَنْ بُرَيدة إلاَّ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَن ابْنِ بُرَيدة عَنْ أَبِيهِ
English Translation
Bishr ibn Adam narrated to us, he said: Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, he said: al-Husayn ibn Waqid narrated to us from Abdullah ibn Burayda from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever swears that he is free of Islam - if he is lying, then he is as he said, and if he is truthful, he will never return to Islam safely." This hadith, we do not know it to be narrated with this wording except from Burayda from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and we do not know any route for it from Burayda except al-Husayn ibn Waqid from Ibn Burayda from his father.
