English Translation
Abda ibn Ubaydullah narrated to us, he said: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: al-Mas'udi informed us from Alqama ibn Marthad from Sulayman ibn Burayda from his father (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: A man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I love horses. Are there horses in Paradise?" He said: "If Allah admits you to Paradise, you will not wish to ride a horse of red ruby that flies with you in Paradise wherever you wish, except that you will ride it." Then another came and said: "O Messenger of Allah, are there camels in Paradise?" He said: "If Allah admits you to Paradise, then you will have therein whatever your soul desires and your eyes delight in." This hadith, we do not know anyone who narrated it from Alqama from Ibn Burayda from his father except al-Mas'udi, and others narrated it from Alqama ibn Marthad from Ibn Sabit.
