حَدَّثنا العباس بن مُحَمد البغدادي قَال حَدَّثنا إسحاق بن منصور قَال حَدَّثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَن سِمَاك عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرة رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كَانَ بِلالٌ يُؤَذِّنُ ثُمَّ يُمْهِلُ فَإِذَا رَأَى النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَخَذَ فِي الإِقَامَةِوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نعلَمُ أحَدًا يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ سِمَاك إلاَّ إسرائيل ثُمَّ يُمْهِلُ فَإِذَا رَأَى النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَخَذَ فِي الإِقَامَةِوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نعلَمُ أحَدًا يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ سِمَاك إلاَّ إسرائيل
English Translation
Hadrat Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: Bilal would call the adhan and then wait. When he saw the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) [come out], he would begin the iqamah. This hadith is not known to have been narrated from Simak except by Isra'il.
