حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن مسكين قَال حَدَّثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانٍ وعَبد اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ عَن يَحيى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الذِّمَارِيِّ عَن أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيِّ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ وَأَتْبَعَهُ بِسِتٍّ مِنْ شَوَّالٍ كَانَ كَصَوْمِ الدَّهْرِ اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ وَأَتْبَعَهُ بِسِتٍّ مِنْ شَوَّالٍ كَانَ كَصَوْمِ الدَّهْرِ
English Translation
Hadrat Thawban (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: «Whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days of Shawwal, it is as if he fasted the entire year.»
