حَدَّثنا عَبد اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ شَبُّوَيْهِ قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو اليمان قَال حَدَّثنا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرو عَن أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ جُبَير بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَن أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلاثٍ بِصِيَامِ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَأَنْ لا أَنَامَ إلاَّ عَلَى وِتْرٍ وَسُبْحَةِ الضُّحَى فِي السَّفَرِ وَالْحَضَرِوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ فَذَكَرْنَا حَدِيثَ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ لِجَلالَتِهِ وَحُسْنِ إِسْنَادِهِ إلاَّ أَنْ يَزِيدَ غَيْرُهُ كَلامِا فَيُكْتَبَ مِنْ أَجْلِ الزِّيَادَةِ بِصِيَامِ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَأَنْ لا أَنَامَ إلاَّ عَلَى وِتْرٍ وَسُبْحَةِ الضُّحَى فِي السَّفَرِ وَالْحَضَرِوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ فَذَكَرْنَا حَدِيثَ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ لِجَلالَتِهِ وَحُسْنِ إِسْنَادِهِ إلاَّ أَنْ يَزِيدَ غَيْرُهُ كَلامِا فَيُكْتَبَ مِنْ أَجْلِ الزِّيَادَةِ
English Translation
Hadrat Abu ad-Darda (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: My beloved [the Prophet] (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) advised me with three things: fasting three days every month, not sleeping without having performed the witr prayer, and the forenoon [duha] prayer in travel and at home. This hadith has been narrated from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) through various routes, so we mentioned the hadith of Abu ad-Darda for the rarity of its chain.
