حَدَّثنا إبراهيم بن زياد قَال حَدَّثنا إبراهيم بن أبي العباس قَال حَدَّثنا عَبد الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ بَهْرَامَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبد الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَن أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ قَدْ يَئِسَ أَنْ يُعْبَدَ فِي جَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَلكن قَدْ رَضِيَ مِنْكُمْ بِمُحَقِّرَاتٍوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ قَدْ يَئِسَ أَنْ يُعْبَدَ فِي جَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَلكن قَدْ رَضِيَ مِنْكُمْ بِمُحَقِّرَاتٍوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ
English Translation
Hadrat Abu ad-Darda (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «Indeed, Satan has despaired of being worshipped in the Arabian Peninsula, but he has been content with your trivial sins.» This hadith has been narrated from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) through other routes.
