حَدَّثنا الحسن بن عَبد العزيز قَال حَدَّثنا يَحْيَى بن حسان قَال حَدَّثنا الْوَلِيدُ الذِّمَارِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثني نِمْرَانُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ قَالَ دَخَلْنَا عَلَى أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ وَنَحْنُ أَيْتَامٌ صغار فمسحت رؤُوسنا وَقَالَتْ أَبْشِرُوا بَنِيَّ فَإِنِّي أَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونُوا فِي شَفَاعَةِ أَبِيكُمْ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يُشَفَّعُ الشَّهِيدُ فِي سَبْعِينَ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ أَوْ لَيُشَفَّعُ الشَّهِيدُ فِي سَبْعِينَ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الدَّرْدَاءِ وَنَحْنُ أَيْتَامٌ صغار فمسحت رؤُوسنا وَقَالَتْ أَبْشِرُوا بَنِيَّ فَإِنِّي أَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونُوا فِي شَفَاعَةِ أَبِيكُمْ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يُشَفَّعُ الشَّهِيدُ فِي سَبْعِينَ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ أَوْ لَيُشَفَّعُ الشَّهِيدُ فِي سَبْعِينَ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ
English Translation
Al-Hasan ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Hassan narrated to us, he said: al-Walid al-Dhimari narrated to us, he said: Nimran ibn 'Utbah narrated to me, he said: We entered upon Umm al-Darda' when we were young orphans. She wiped our heads and said: "Rejoice, my children, for I hope that you will be among those who benefit from the intercession of your father, may Allah have mercy on him. I heard Abu al-Darda' saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'The martyr will intercede for seventy of his household.'" Or: "The martyr shall surely intercede for seventy of his household."
