حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ السَّكَنِ قَالَ نَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ قَالَ نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَرْوَانَ وَهُوَ أَبُو قَيْسٍ عَنِ الْهُزَيْلِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ جَالِسًا وَشَاتَانِ تَعْتَلِقَانَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَطَحَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا الْأُخْرَى وَأَجْهَضَتْهَا فَضَحِكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقِيلَ مَا يُضْحِكُكَ قَالَ عَجَبًا لَهَا وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَتُقَادَنَّ بِهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ قَالَ نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي سُوَيْدٍ قَالَ نَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَرْوَانَ عَنِ الْهُزَيْلِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَحْوِهِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا أَسْنَدَهُ عَنْ لَيْثٍ إِلَّا ��َمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَطَحَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا الْأُخْرَى وَأَجْهَضَتْهَا فَضَحِكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقِيلَ مَا يُضْحِكُكَ قَالَ عَجَبًا لَهَا وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَتُقَادَنَّ بِهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ قَالَ نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي سُوَيْدٍ قَالَ نَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَرْوَانَ عَنِ الْهُزَيْلِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَحْوِهِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا أَسْنَدَهُ عَنْ لَيْثٍ إِلَّا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ
English Translation
Yahya ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sakan narrated to us, he said: Ishaq ibn Idris narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Layth, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Tharwan - who is Abu Qays - from al-Huzayl ibn Shurahbil, from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was sitting while two sheep were butting each other in front of him. One of them butted the other and caused her to miscarry. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) laughed. It was said: "What makes you laugh?" He said: "How astonishing! By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, she will certainly be brought to account for it on the Day of Resurrection." And Ibrahim ibn Hani' also narrated it to us from Ibrahim ibn Abi Suwayd from Hammad from Layth from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Tharwan from al-Huzayl ibn Shurahbil from Abu Dharr from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with similar wording. This hadith - we do not know it to be narrated with this wording except from Abu Dharr, and we do not know that anyone connected its chain from Layth except Hammad ibn Salamah.
