وَحَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ نَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ نَا مُوسَى بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنِ الْمَعْرُورِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَابِقٍ قَالَ نَا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنِ الْمَعْرُورِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَقُولُ يَا عِبَادِي كُلُّكُمْ مُذْنِبٌ إِلَّا مَنْ عَافَيْتُ فَاسْتَغْفِرُونِي أَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ وَكُلُّكُمْ ضَالٌّ إِلَّا مِنْ هَدَيْتُ فَاسْأَلُونِي أَهْدِكُمْ وَكُلُّكُمْ فَقِيرٌ إِلَّا مَنْ أَغْنَيْتُ فَاسْأَلُونِي أَرْزُقْكُمْ وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَوَّلَكُمْ وَآخِرَكُمْ وَحَيَّكُمْ وَمَيِّتَكُمْ وَرَطْبَكُمْ وَيَابِسَكُمُ اجْتَمَعُوا عَلَى أَتْقَى قَلْبِ عَبْدٍ مِنْ عِبَادِي لَمْ يَزِيدُوا فِي مُلْكِي جَنَاحَ بَعُوضَةٍ وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَوَّلَكُمْ وَآخِرَكُمْ وَحَيَّكُمْ وَمَيِّتَكُمْ وَرَطْبَكُمْ وَيَابِسَكُمُ اجْتَمَعُوا فَسَأَلَ كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ مَا بَلَغَتْ أُمْنِيَّتُهُ أَعْطَيْتُ كُلَّ سَائِلٍ مَا سَأَلَ لَمْ يَنْقُصْ إِلَّا كَمَا لَوْ مَرَّ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى شَفَةِ الْبَحْرِ فَغَمَزَ فِيهِ إِبْرَةً ثُمَّ انْتَزَعَهَا ذَاكَ فَإِنِّي جَوَادٌ مَا جَدَّ وَاجِدٌ عَطَائِي كَلَامٌ وَعَذَابِي كَلَامٌ إِذَا أَرَدْتُ شَيْئًا فَإِنَّمَا أَقُولُ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونَ يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَابِقٍ قَالَ نَا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنِ الْمَعْرُورِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَقُولُ يَا عِبَادِي كُلُّكُمْ مُذْنِبٌ إِلَّا مَنْ عَافَيْتُ فَاسْتَغْفِرُونِي أَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ وَكُلُّكُمْ ضَالٌّ إِلَّا مِنْ هَدَيْتُ فَاسْأَلُونِي أَهْدِكُمْ وَكُلُّكُمْ فَقِيرٌ إِلَّا مَنْ أَغْنَيْتُ فَاسْأَلُونِي أَرْزُقْكُمْ وَلَوْ أ��نَّ أَوَّلَكُمْ وَآخِرَكُمْ وَحَيَّكُمْ وَمَيِّتَكُمْ وَرَطْبَكُمْ وَيَابِسَكُمُ اجْتَمَعُوا عَلَى أَتْقَى قَلْبِ عَبْدٍ مِنْ عِبَادِي لَمْ يَزِيدُوا فِي مُلْكِي جَنَاحَ بَعُوضَةٍ وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَوَّلَكُمْ وَآخِرَكُمْ وَحَيَّكُمْ وَمَيِّتَكُمْ وَرَطْبَكُمْ وَيَابِسَكُمُ اجْتَمَعُوا فَسَأَلَ كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ مَا بَلَغَتْ أُمْنِيَّتُهُ أَعْطَيْتُ كُلَّ سَائِلٍ مَا سَأَلَ لَمْ يَنْقُصْ إِلَّا كَمَا لَوْ مَرَّ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى شَفَةِ الْبَحْرِ فَغَمَزَ فِيهِ إِبْرَةً ثُمَّ انْتَزَعَهَا ذَاكَ فَإِنِّي جَوَادٌ مَا جَدَّ وَاجِدٌ عَطَائِي كَلَامٌ وَعَذَابِي كَلَامٌ إِذَا أَرَدْتُ شَيْئًا فَإِنَّمَا أَقُولُ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونَ
English Translation
'Amr ibn 'Ali narrated to us, he said: 'Umar ibn 'Ali narrated to us, he said: Musa ibn al-Musayyab narrated to us, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from al-Ma'rur ibn Suwayd, from Abu Dharr, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Yusuf ibn Muhammad ibn Sabiq narrated to us, he said: al-Muharibi narrated to us, from Musa ibn al-Musayyab, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from al-Ma'rur ibn Suwayd, from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: Indeed Allah, Blessed and Exalted, says: O My servants, all of you are sinners except those whom I protect, so seek My forgiveness and I shall forgive you. All of you are astray except those whom I guide, so ask Me and I shall guide you. All of you are poor except those whom I enrich, so ask Me and I shall provide for you. If the first and last of you, the living and dead of you, the fresh and dry of you, were all gathered upon the heart of the most pious servant among My servants, that would not increase My dominion by the wing of a mosquito. If the first and last of you, the living and dead of you, the fresh and dry of you, were all gathered and each person asked for the utmost of his desire, and I gave every asker what he asked, it would not diminish [My dominion] except as if one of you passed by the edge of the sea and dipped a needle into it then withdrew it. For I am Generous, Majestic, and Bountiful. My giving is speech and My punishment is speech. When I will something, I only say to it 'Be' and it is.
