حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ نَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ نَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ يَقُولُ كَمَا يَقُولُ الْمُؤَذِّنُ وَإِذَا بَلَغَ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ قَالَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ يَقُولُ كَمَا يَقُولُ الْمُؤَذِّنُ وَإِذَا بَلَغَ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ قَالَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ma'mar narrated to us, he said: al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, he said: Sharik narrated to us, from Asim ibn Ubaydullah, from Ali ibn Husayn, from Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to repeat what the muezzin said, and when the muezzin reached 'Hayya ala al-salah' [come to prayer] and 'Hayya ala al-falah' [come to success], he would say: 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah' [There is no power or strength except through Allah].
