حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ قَالَ نَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ قَالَ نَا أَبُو رَيْحَانَةَ عَنْ سَفِينَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَتَوَضَّأُ بِالْمُدِّ وَيَغْتَسِلُ بِالصَّاعِ حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي رَيْحَانَةَ عَنْ سَفِينَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَحْوِهِ يَتَوَضَّأُ بِالْمُدِّ وَيَغْتَسِلُ بِالصَّاعِ حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي رَيْحَانَةَ عَنْ سَفِينَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَحْوِهِ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Malik narrated to us, he said: Bishr ibn al-Mufaddal narrated to us, he said: Abu Rayhanah narrated to us, from Safinah, may Allah be well pleased with him, that the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, used to perform ablution with a mudd and bathe with a sa'. Mu'ammal ibn Hisham also narrated to us, he said: Isma'il ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, from Abu Rayhanah, from Safinah, from the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, with a similar narration.
