حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ قَالَ نَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ قَالَ نَا أَشْعَثُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ أَنَّهُ رَأَى خَالَهُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةَ أَبِيهِ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَضْرِبَ عُنُقَهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةَ أَبِيهِ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَضْرِبَ عُنُقَهُ
English Translation
'Abdullah ibn Sa'id Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, he said: Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, he said: Ash'ath narrated to us, from 'Adi ibn Thabit, from al-Bara', that he saw his maternal uncle Abu Burdah, may Allah be well pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, sent me to a man who had married his father's wife, and he ordered me to strike his neck.
