حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ قَالَ نَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ طُعْمَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِهِ ضَحَايَا قَالَ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيَّ بِعَتُودٍ جِذْعٍ فَجِئْتُ بِهِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ جَذَعٌ فَقَالَ ضَحِّ بِهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِهِ ضَحَايَا قَالَ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيَّ بِعَتُودٍ جِذْعٍ فَجِئْتُ بِهِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ جَذَعٌ فَقَالَ ضَحِّ بِهِ
English Translation
Yahya ibn Khalaf narrated to us, he said: 'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq narrated to us, from 'Umarah ibn 'Abdullah ibn Tu'mah, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani, may Allah be well pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, distributed sacrificial animals among his companions. He said: He sent me a young kid goat. So I brought it to the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, it is only a young kid." He said: "Sacrifice it."
