حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ قَالَ نَا أَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ نَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ أَيُّ الْكَسْبِ أَطْيَبُ قَالَ عَمَلُ الرَّجُلِ بِيَدِهِ وَكُلٌّ بَيْعٍ مَبْرُورٍ قَالَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا أَسْنَدَهُ عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ إِلَّا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ فَقَالَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ أَيُّ الْكَسْبِ أَطْيَبُ قَالَ عَمَلُ الرَّجُلِ بِيَدِهِ وَكُلٌّ بَيْعٍ مَبْرُورٍ قَالَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا أَسْنَدَهُ عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ إِلَّا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ فَقَالَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahim narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Mundhir Isma'il ibn Umar narrated to us, he said: al-Mas'udi narrated to us, from Wa'il ibn Dawud, from Ubayd ibn Rifa'ah, from his father, may Allah be well pleased with him, that the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, was asked: "Which earning is the best?" He said: "The work of a man with his own hands, and every honest transaction." He said: This hadith - we do not know anyone who narrated it with a chain from al-Mas'udi except Isma'il ibn Umar. Others narrated it and said 'from Ubayd ibn Rifa'ah' without saying 'from his father.'
