حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مَسْمُولٍ قَالَ نَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ تَسَمَّى بِاسْمِي فَلَا يَكْتَنِي بِكُنْيَتِي قَالَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ يُرْوَى كَلَامُهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ وجُوهٍ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ لِأَبِي حُمَيْدٍ طَرِيقًا غَيْرَ هَذَا الطَّرِيقِ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ لَيِّنُ الْحَدِيثِ وَقَدْ رَوَى عَنْهُ جَمَاعَةٌ وَحَدِّثُوا عَنْهُ مَنْ تَسَمَّى بِاسْمِي فَلَا يَكْتَنِي بِكُنْيَتِي قَالَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ يُرْوَى كَلَامُهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ وجُوهٍ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ لِأَبِي حُمَيْدٍ طَرِيقًا غَيْرَ هَذَا الطَّرِيقِ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ لَيِّنُ الْحَدِيثِ وَقَدْ رَوَى عَنْهُ جَمَاعَةٌ وَحَدِّثُوا عَنْهُ
English Translation
Amr ibn Malik narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Sulayman ibn Masmul narrated to us, he said: Abu Bakr ibn Abi Sabrah narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Hazm, from his father, from Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Hazm, from Abu Humayd, may Allah be well pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, said: "Whoever takes my name, let him not take my kunyah [honorific]." He [al-Bazzar] said: This hadith - its wording has been narrated from the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, through multiple routes. We do not know any route for Abu Humayd other than this route. Abu Bakr ibn Abi Sabrah is weak in hadith, but a group has narrated from him and reported his narrations.
