حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ نَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ نَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَسْلَفَ مِنْ أَعْرَابِيٍّ تَمْرًا فَجَاءَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ يَتَقَاضَاهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا عِنْدَنَا مَا نَقْضِيكَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ مِنْ أَعْرَابِيٍّ تَمْرًا فَجَاءَ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ يَتَقَاضَاهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا عِنْدَنَا مَا نَقْضِيكَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
English Translation
Amr ibn Malik narrated to us, he said: Ibn Wahb narrated to us, he said: Qurrah ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Abi Habib, from al-Zuhri, from Urwah, from Abu Humayd, may Allah be well pleased with him, that the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, borrowed some dates from a Bedouin. The Bedouin came demanding repayment, and the Prophet, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, said: "We do not have anything to repay you with." Then he mentioned the hadith.
