حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ نَا حَامِدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْبَكْرَاوِيُّ قَالَ نَا بَكَّارُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ رَأَيَا رَأَيَا اللَّهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ سَمَّعَ سَمَّعَ اللَّهُ بِهِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ ذِكْرُنَا لِبَكَّارٍ فِي غَيْرِ هَذَا فَاسْتَغْنَيْنَا عَنْ إِعَادَةِ ذِكْرِهِ بَعْدُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ رَأَيَا رَأَيَا اللَّهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ سَمَّعَ سَمَّعَ اللَّهُ بِهِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ ذِكْرُنَا لِبَكَّارٍ فِي غَيْرِ هَذَا فَاسْتَغْنَيْنَا عَنْ إِعَادَةِ ذِكْرِهِ بَعْدُ
English Translation
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, he said: Hamid ibn Umar al-Bakrawi narrated to us, he said: Bakkar ibn Abd al-Aziz narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Bakrah, may Allah be well pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, said: "Whoever shows off, Allah will expose him, and whoever seeks fame, Allah will make his intentions known." This hadith - we do not know anyone who narrates it from Abu Bakrah except with this chain. We have previously mentioned Bakkar elsewhere, so we need not repeat his mention.
