حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ نَا عُثْمَانُ الشَّحَّامُ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ أَبِي يَقُولُ فِي دُبُرِ الصَّلَاةِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالْفَقْرِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ قَالَ فَكُنْتُ أَقُولُهُنَّ فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي إِنَّكَ تَقُولُهُنَّ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُهُنَّ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ يَقُولُ فِي دُبُرِ الصَّلَاةِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالْفَقْرِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ قَالَ فَكُنْتُ أَقُولُهُنَّ فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي إِنَّكَ تَقُولُهُنَّ قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُهُنَّ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ
English Translation
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, he said: Uthman al-Shahham narrated to us, from Muslim ibn Abi Bakrah, who said: My father used to say at the end of the prayer: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief, poverty, and the punishment of the grave." He said: So I used to say them too. I said to my father: "You say them." He said: "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, used to say them at the end of every prayer."
