حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرَّازِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كُنَّا نُؤْمَرُ بِالسِّوَاكِ إِذَا قُمْنَا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَى أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ إِلَّا هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ
English Translation
'Abdullah ibn Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, he said: Ishaq ibn Sulayman al-Razi informed us, from Abu Sinan, from Abu Husayn, from Abu Wa'il, from Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) who said: 'The trust was sent down in the root of the hearts of men.'
