حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِرْدَاسٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ كَثِيرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الطُّفَيْلِ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَحْسَنُ مَا غَيَّرْتُمْ بِهِ الشَّيْبَ الْحِنَّاءُ وَالْكَتَمُ أَوْ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْتَضِبُ بِالْحِنَّاءِ وَالْكَتَمِ
English Translation
'Amr ibn 'Ali narrated to us, from Abu Dawud, from Shu'bah, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu al-Ahwas, from 'Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) who said: 'Ruqyah (incantation), amulets, and love charms are polytheism.'
