حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ شَاهِينَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ بِالْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ لِلْمُسَافِرِ وَيَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً لِلْمُقِيمِ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ja'far, from Shu'bah, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, from 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: We pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that we would not steal, commit adultery, kill our children, or bring slander, and that we would not disobey him in what is right.
