حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ يَحْيَى ابْنِ أَخِي عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ صَلَّى الْمَكْتُوبَةَ فَأَدَّاهَا وَصَلَّاهَا لِوَقْتِهَا لَقِيَ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى وَلَهُ عَهْدٌ أَلَّا يُعَذِّبَهُ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُقِمِ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّهَا لِوَقْتِهَا لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَلَا عَهْدَ لَهُ إِنْ شَاءَ عَذَّبَهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ رَحِمَهُ
English Translation
Khalid ibn Yusuf ibn Khalid narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to me, he said: Musa ibn 'Uqbah informed us, from Ishaq ibn Yahya, the nephew of 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit, from 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Whoever prays the obligatory prayers, performing them and praying them at their proper times, will meet Allah the Most High with a covenant from Allah that He will admit him to Paradise. And whoever does not do so has no covenant with Allah; if He wills, He will punish him, and if He wills, He will admit him to Paradise.'
