وَأَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّا نَازِلُونَ غَدًا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى بِخَيْفِ بَنِي كِنَانَةَ حَيْثُ تَقَاسَمُوا عَلَى الْكُفْرِ فَقِيلَ أَلَا نَضْرِبُ لَكَ بِمِنًى مَضْرِبًا فَقَالَ وَهَلْ تَرَكَ لَنَا عَقِيلٌ مَنْزِلًا وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ الَّذِي رَوَاهُ الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ قَدْ رَوَاهُ أَيْضًا غَيْرُ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَى عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ إِلَّا هَذَيْنِ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ عَمْرٌو وَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ
English Translation
And Isma'il ibn Hafs informed us, he said: al-Walid ibn Muslim informed us, he said: al-Awza'i informed us, from al-Zuhri, from 'Ali ibn Husayn, from 'Amr ibn 'Uthman, from Usamah ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'We shall camp tomorrow, God willing, at Khayf Bani Kinanah, where they swore upon disbelief.' It was said: 'Shall we not pitch a tent for you at Mina?' He said: 'Has 'Aqil left us any lodging?' This hadith narrated by al-Awza'i has also been narrated by others from al-Zuhri from 'Ali ibn Husayn from 'Amr ibn 'Uthman from Usamah from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). We do not know that 'Amr ibn 'Uthman narrated from Usamah anything other than these two hadiths. 'Amr ibn 'Ali narrated to us, he said: Ibn 'Uyaynah informed us, from al-Zuhri. And 'Amr said: Yazid ibn Zuray' and Muhammad ibn Ja'far informed us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri.
