حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا صَالِحٌ الْمُرِّيُّ عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ قَالَ كَتَبَ سَلْمَانُ إِلَى أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ يَا أَخِي عَلَيْكَ بِالْمَسْجِدِ فَالْزَمْهُ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْمَسْجِدُ بَيْتُ كُلِّ تَقِيٍّ
English Translation
'Abdullah ibn Mu'awiyah narrated to us, he said: Salih al-Murri informed us, from al-Jurayri, from Abu 'Uthman, who said: Salman wrote to Abu al-Darda': 'O my brother, keep to the mosque and adhere to it, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: The mosque is the home of every pious person.'
