حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدٍ الْمَلِكِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ الْحَمِقِ الْخُزَاعِيَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَمَّنَ رَجُلًا عَلَى نَفْسِهِ فَقَتَلَهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَحْمِلُ لِوَاءَ غَدْرٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ وَهُوَ رِفَاعَةُ الْقِتْبَانِيُّ الَّذِي رَوَى عَنْهُ السُّدِّيُّ وَأَمَّا حَدِيثُ قُرَّةَ فَأَخْطَأَ فِيهِ قُرَّةُ لِأَنَّهُ قَالَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ وَالصَّوَابُ مَا قَالَ أَبُو عَوَانَةَ وَقَدْ تَابَعَ أَبَا عَوَانَةَ عَلَ�� مِثْلِ رِوَايَتِهِ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ فَاجْتَزَيْنَا بِأَبِي عَوَانَةَ وَحْدَهُ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ وَأَبُو عَامِرٍ عَنْ قُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَمِقِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَحْوِهِ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Malik narrated to us, he said: Abu 'Awanah informed us, from 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Umayr, from Rifa'ah ibn Shaddad, who said: I heard 'Amr ibn al-Hamiq al-Khuza'i say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Whoever gives a man security for his life and then kills him, he will carry a banner of treachery on the Day of Resurrection.' This hadith was narrated by 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Umayr from Rifa'ah ibn Shaddad, who is Rifa'ah al-Qitbani from whom al-Suddi narrated. As for the hadith of Qurrah, he erred in it because he said from 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Umayr from 'Amir ibn Shaddad, whereas the correct version is what Abu 'Awanah said. Others have corroborated Abu 'Awanah's narration, so we sufficed with Abu 'Awanah alone. Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Wahb ibn Jarir and Abu 'Amir informed us, from Qurrah, from 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Umayr, from 'Amir ibn Shaddad, from 'Amr ibn al-Hamiq, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a similar meaning.
