حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدٍ الْمَلِكِ قَالَ نا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ لَقِيَ امْرَأَةً فَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ أَصَابَ مِنْهَا قُبْلَةً أَوْ شَيْئًا ذَكَرَهُ فَكَأَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ كَفَّارَتِهِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ طَرَفَيِ النَّهَارِ وَزُلَفًا الْآيَةَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ لَقِيَ امْرَأَةً فَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ أَصَابَ مِنْهَا قُبْلَةً أَوْ شَيْئًا ذَكَرَهُ فَكَأَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ كَفَّارَتِهِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ طَرَفَيِ النَّهَارِ وَزُلَفًا الْآيَةَ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Abd al-Malik narrated to us, he stated: Yazid ibn Zuray' narrated to us from Sulayman at-Taymi from Abu Uthman an-Nahdi from Hadrat Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that a man came to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and mentioned that he encountered a woman and mentioned that he obtained from her a kiss or something he mentioned, and it was as if he was asked about its expiation. Then Allah, Mighty and Majestic, revealed: «Establish prayer at the two ends of the day and in the early hours of the night» — the verse.
