حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ قَالَ أنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ خَرْدَلِ مِنْ كِبْرٍ وَلَا يَدْخُلُ النَّارَ مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ حَبَّةِ خَرْدَلٍ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ رَوَاهُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ خَرْدَلِ مِنْ كِبْرٍ وَلَا يَدْخُلُ النَّارَ مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ حَبَّةِ خَرْدَلٍ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ رَوَاهُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Sulayman, from Abu Wa'il, from Abdullah, who said: We used to say in prayer behind the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him): Peace be upon Allah, peace be upon so-and-so. So the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to us: «Do not say peace be upon Allah, for indeed Allah is al-Salam [the Source of Peace]. When one of you sits in prayer, let him say: All compliments, prayers and good words are for Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah — for when you say that, it reaches every righteous servant in the heavens and the earth. I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger. Then let him choose whichever supplication appeals to him and call upon Him with it.»
