أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَدِيبُ أنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا حَرْمَلَةُ أنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ وَأَبِي الزُّبَيْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يَطِيبَ وَلَا يُبَاعُ شَيْءٌ مِنْهُ إِلَّا بِالدِّينَارِ وَالدِّرْهَمِ إِلَّا الْعَرَايَا
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man keeps telling the truth until he is recorded with Allah as a truthful person (siddiq). Lying leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Fire."
