أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو حَامِدِ بْنِ أَبِي حَامِدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي وَأَبُو صَادِقِ بْنُ أَبِي الْفَوَارِسِ قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ صَدَرْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ يَوْمَ الصَّدْرِ فَمَرَّتْ بِنَا رُفْقَةٌ يَمَانِيَّةٌ رِحَالُهُمُ الْأُدُمُ وَخُطُمُ إِبِلِهِمُ الْخُزُمُ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى أَشْبَهِ رُفْقَةٍ وَرَدَتِ الْحَجَّ الْعَامَ بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابِهِ إِذْ قَدِمُوا فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى هَذِهِ الرُّفْقَةِ
English Translation
Ishaq ibn Sa'id narrated from his father who said: 'I departed with Ibn Umar on the day of departure, and a Yemeni caravan passed by us with leather saddles and their camels had halters of palm fiber. Abdullah said: Whoever would like to see the caravan most resembling the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and his Companions when they came for the Farewell Pilgrimage, let him look at this caravan.'
