English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) was asked about the means for Hajj and he said: 'Provisions and a riding mount.' Through another chain it was similarly narrated. Other hadiths have been reported on this topic but none of them are authentic. The hadith of Ibrahim ibn Yazid is the most well-known, and we have supported it with what al-Hasan al-Basri narrated, even though it is disconnected.
