وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنِي الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَئِنْ بُقِّيتُ لَآمُرَنَّ بِصِيَامِ يَوْمٍ قَبْلَهُ أَوْ يَوْمٍ بَعْدَهُ يَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ
English Translation
Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'When one of you hears the call and the vessel is in his hand, let him not put it down until he fulfills his need from it.' This is regarding the first adhan before Fajr.
