أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ تَقَلَّدَ سَيْفَ عُمَرَ ؓ يَوْمَ قَتْلِ عُثْمَانَ ؓ وَكَانَ مُحَلًّى قَالَ قُلْتُ كَمْ كَانَتْ حِلْيَتُهُ؟ قَالَ البيهقي ٧٥٧٤: عن
English Translation
Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz and Abu Sa'id ibn Abi Umar narrated to us: Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us: Harun ibn Sulayman narrated to us: Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated from Uthman ibn Musa, from Nafi' that Ibn Umar girded himself with the sword of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) on the day Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) was killed, and it was adorned with silver. He said: I asked: How much was its adornment?
