أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الصَّقْرِ بْنِ النَّضْرِ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ الْهَادِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ كَمْ كَانَ صَدَاقُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَتْ كَانَ صَدَاقُهُ لِأَزْوَاجِهِ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ أُوقِيَّةً وَنَشًّا قَالَتْ أَتَدْرِي مَا النَّشُّ؟ قُلْتُ لَا قَالَتْ نِصْفُ أُوقِيَّةٍ فَتِلْكَ خَمْسُ مِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ فَهَذَا صَدَاقُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَزْوَاجِهِ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us: Abu Bakr ibn Ishaq informed us: Ali ibn al-Saqr ibn al-Nadr narrated to us: Ibrahim ibn Hamza al-Zubayri narrated to us: al-Darawardi narrated to us: Yazid ibn al-Had narrated to me from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim, from Abu Salama ibn Abd al-Rahman who said: I asked Aisha, the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him): How much was the dowry of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)? She said: His dowry for his wives was twelve uqiya and a nash. She said: Do you know what a nash is? I said: No. She said: Half an uqiya. So that is five hundred dirhams. This was the dowry of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) for his wives.
