أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو حَامِدِ بْنُ بِلَالٍ ثنا أَبُو الْأَزْهَرِ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ثنا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺمَا يَسُرُّنِي أَنَّ لِي مِثْلَ أُحُدٍ ذَهَبًا أُنْفِقُهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَمُوتُ حِينَ أَمُوتُ وَأَخْلُفُ عَشَرَةَ أَوَاقٍ إِلَّا فِي ثَمَنِ كَفَنٍ أَوْ قَضَاءِ دَيْنٍ
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'I would not want to have gold the size of Uhud to spend in the way of Allah, and die leaving behind ten ounces — except for what is needed for shrouding or repaying a debt.'
